Welcome to COPS NFP where we work hard everyday to help people who are living in homelessness or poverty, to escape poverty. How do we do this you ask? Well let me tell you: We offer an umbrella of services directly to individuals who are in need of shelter, job skills, linkage to community programs, help filling out forms, needing an address to get services, needing emergency transportation to shelters outside of Mclean County, need food from local food pantries, need literacy help and more.
COPS NFP offer a stipend to those needing money for emergencies by providing work in the store or by bringing the work to them which intel folding, sorting, hanging and labeling. With this we offer referrals to those who work diligently and with the purpose of finding a good paying job. This stipend volunteer work pays $20 for 5 bags/baskets of clothing.
COPS NFP accepts monetary donations, volunteer groups or individuals, grants, foundations and personal donations to commit to our cause for our homeless neighbors. COPS NFP also accepts donated vehicles running or not that will be solely used to provide transportation to clients who are succeeding within our organization or the money for them contributes to us providing services to them.
Please partner with us and watch us continue to grow as our clients grow and create families who are cruising and staying out of poverty. Homelessness does not equal hopelessness and poverty does not equal pointless. We all should be able to thrive in this world if we desire to and it will take our community here in Mclean to prove it.
May God continue to bless and keep you all. We have an open door and open communication policy in our endeavor. Do not hesitate to call, text, email, write a letter or friend request us on our Facebook page.
